Anti-Wrinkle Injections
Anti-wrinkle injections work by smoothing the appearance of dynamic wrinkles.
The injection prevents the muscle contractions that cause deep lines that burrow into the skin. Subtlety is key – anti-wrinkle injections aren’t about changing the face, they are about making you look as refreshed as possible.
The most common areas for treatment include forehead lines, crows feet and frown lines - however there are multiple other applications such as reducing a gummy smile, reducing the roundness of your jaw, even preventing teeth grinding and excessive sweating.
The Treatment:
We allow 30 minutes for anti-wrinkle treatments. This is a very quick procedure which only takes a few minutes, however the majority of the appointment will be for consultation.
Anti-wrinkle is a comfortable treatment and most people report minimal to no pain.
A very small needle is used to administer the product into the muscle.
After treatment a top up is offered at no further cost if required, this takes place 2-4 weeks following initial treatment.
The effect will come into action in 10-14 days. We expect the effects of anti wrinkle treatments to last for 3-4 months.
The effects will gradually wear off over this period as muscle movement slowly returns.
After Treatment:
No alcohol for 24 hours.
No high intensity exercise for 24 hours post procedure.
Do not wear makeup for at least 4 hours.
Avoid touching the inception sites.
Redness and bruising are a common side effect.
You must remain upright for a minimum of three hours post procedure.
