Ear Piercing:
Here at BB we are qualified and insured to pierce only the lobe of your ear. We can offer classic, vertical, upper or stacked lobe piercing.
Getting your ears pierced whether it's for your child or yourself can be a big decision. There are a few things to consider before choosing whether to adorn your ears.
There is no legal age restriction on when you can get your ears pierced, but we recommend your child should be no younger than six and anyone under the age of eighteen will need a signed consent form from a parent or guardian .The older the child, the more likely they’'ll be able to take responsibility for keeping their ears and new studs clean.
If your child is in school it is important to consider your school’s rules on piercings. The six weeks holidays is usually a great time to get them done.
An earlobe piercing is not a very painful process, but it does sting for a few seconds.
Pre-Treatment:
Choose which style of earring you like, then we will mark on the lobe the area where you’d like your piercing and we’re ready to go.
Our ear studs are made from hypoallergenic material meaning they do not cause allergies or irritations. They are supplied in validated pre-sterilised blister packs and have therefore been individually sterilised.
The Treatment:
By far our most popular treatment is the classic lobe piercing but with ear piercing being so on trend here are a few other options you may want to consider:
Vertical Lobe
Upper Lobe
Stacked
Aftercare:
Leave your new studs in for at least 6-8 weeks.
During the first year of piercing you should avoid going longer than 24 hours without wearing earrings. This will ensure that the piercings will not close.
Avoid any unnecessary handling of the ears and studs.
Wash hands thoroughly before touching your studs or earrings.
Twice a day clean the area with an ear piercing cleaning solution.
With clean hands, gently rotate the earrings at least twice a day.
Avoid swimming for 2-3 weeks as the bacteria and chlorine can cause irritation and possible infection.
