HD Brows:
HD Brows is a bespoke treatment that’s tailored to each client.
Your Brow Stylist will ask lots of questions to determine exactly how you envisage your dream brows to ensure we’re working to achieve the shape, size, colour and style that suits you and your personality.
Pre-Treatment:
A patch test is required 48 hours before your first treatment, but then after that you’ll only need one again if you have a 6 month period where you don’t come into contact with PPD (the tinting ingredient in our Brow Dyes). You can also opt to have a wax test too, which is advisable if you have sensitive skin.
The Treatment:
Every stage of the treatment is tailored to you and tinting is no different. We don’t just apply a standard eyebrow tint;
Our Brow Dyes can be custom blended to make a colour that is perfect for you. The tint is then applied all over the brow area, picking up those fair, fluffy hairs and incorporating them into the brow shape.
Next we wax the brow with an exclusive design formula to create your desired brow shape through waxing. Whether you’re looking to take them thinner or grow them back, your stylist will be able to achieve this.
Then we thread to remove any of those fair hairs that we don’t want to use in the brow shape, blending away any tell-tale wax lines and ensuring smooth make up application.
We are eyebrow perfectionists, which is why we have the finishing stage. Any remaining hairs are tweezed away for a clean finish and, if necessary, long brow hairs are trimmed so they fall in line with the brow shape.
Finally, make up is applied to any sparse areas to illustrate how the brows will look if they are left to grow in.
Approximately 80% of clients will be on a regrowth program to help them along their brow journey and achieve their ultimate brow goals.
Brow Aftercare:
To maintain that fresh brow feeling, it's really important you follow all aftercare advice:
Rule number 1: your brows are now the property of Beauty Boutique and only they can remove a single hair from your brows. Just kidding! But seriously, throw those tweezers in the bin! Even plucking one or two hairs can slow down how quickly you achieve your desired brows.
Avoid the use of make-up and facial cleansers other than High Definition Brows branded products around the brow area for the next 24 hours.
Avoid prolonged contact with direct sunlight, the use of sunbeds, saunas, steam-rooms and swimming pools for 24 hours after the procedure.
Avoid exfoliators and anti-ageing products around the brow area for 3 days either side of the treatment.
It is advisable not to use any fake tanning products on the face for around 2 or 3 days either side of the treatment. If you do wish to use a fake tanning product on your face, apply a barrier to the hair and small area around the brow prior to tanning, to prevent discolouration of your tint.
Remember your results will be darker and more defined immediately after your treatment. Make-up is not permanent and tint will fade depending on the frequency of cleansing.
You must inform your High Definition Brows Stylist immediately should you experience any prolonged swelling, itchy rash, bruising, skin grazing or cuts so they can advise you on the correct procedure to follow.
